In Loving Memory of Valerie Walker

We say Goodbye and God Bless to Valerie who died peacefully in her sleep on 23rd May 2021. She had suffered with Alzheimer’s for about 7 years, her husband Ken looking after her until her final two years when she went into Buckingham House Care Home.
She was an amazing wife, mum, mum in law and grandma with a great loving personality, big smile, strength of character and we loved her dearly. She would never hesitate to help others who needed a shoulder to cry on at their lowest ebb, a meal offered for comfort and company or just someone to chat to. 
Music, friends, children, cooking, animals and travel were her passions in life and so we ask you to share any memories or pictures of Valerie if you would like to.
You will never be forgotten, rest in peace, we love you.

We’ve decided that we would rather people donate money to the Alzheimer’s Society UK Charity than spend it on flowers for the funeral. It is an amazing charity that provides help and support to those affected by Alzheimer’s and funds research to help find a cure.
There will also be a collection box on the day of the funeral.
